Brugal 1888 Gran Reserva Rum

A very special old rum from Brugal. This was twice distilled and aged in American oak before a finish in Spanish oak sherry casks. A delicious dark rum from the Dominican Republic. Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt Nose: Toasty and sweet with charred oak, sultanas, dates and honey, with a touch of gentle smoke. Palate: Buttery and sweet with butterscotch, Demerara sugar, manuka honey and wafts of wood smoke. Finish: Toffee apple and salty butter.
