J.F. Haden’s Mango Liqueur is a small batch, craft liqueur made in sunny Florida. Each bottle is batch and bottle numbered and only 3000 bottles are produced per batch to guarantee the highest quality and peak flavor. It is a vacation in every sip.
In 1902, the Haden’s sailed to West Palm Beach and brought back 4 dozen Mulgoba fruits to plant on their property in Miami. In reports written to the Florida State Horticultural Society, some tress produced “thin, poor looking fruits,” some were elongated, and some were compact and round. However, on one single tree, everything came together in 1910.
The fruit ripened into a blushed orange color, unlike most mangoes up until that point, which simply ripened from green to yellow. In a few short years, tens of thousands of young Haden mango trees popped up in Miami and throughout the state.
The Haden mango is quintessentially Florida and is the foundation of J. F. Haden’s Mango Liqueur.
