100 percent Malbec from a single estate, this is a fabulous expression of Argentina s signature grape. Sunny days and cold nights at the foot of the Andes concentrate the flavors of plum and dark cherry in this muscular bottle, while sweet and firm tannins provide authority and structure. Vanilla and smoke undertones.

This wonderful wine come from Uco Valley - Tupungato, Gualtallary, and La Arboleda and this Malbec is aged in wood for 8 to 10 months. The exceptionally gentle treatment of hand-selected Malbec grapes is made possible by the winery’s gravity-flow system, which eliminates the need for forceful pumps and pressers. The care taken through all stages of winemaking — from initial cluster-chilling through sorting, maceration, fermentation, and barrel aging — produced an unusually elegant Malbec with great balance and supple tannins.

Tasting Notes:

Intense red color with violet tones. Aromas of wild berry and dark plum with a hint of coffee. Berry and plum continue to the palate with smoke and vanilla joining through the persistent finish. Pairs well with red meat entrees, Beef Wellington, roasted leg of lamb, grilled vegetables, and semi-firm cheeses.

Paring: Red meats, as well as pasta dishes, medium intensity cheese boards and, tapas, among other foods.
