Don Jesús was one of the Botran Merino brothers inspired by glorious Guatemala. Botran No. 8 is a blend for him.
The Botran No. 8 Reserva Clásica Añejo is a blend of rums which are aged for at least 8 years in white oak barrels that previously contained whiskey, in toasted casks and in others that previously aged sherry wines. It is made from sugar cane syrup and matured according to the Solera process in the mountains of Guatemala. It is an expressive rum with notes of toasted oak and fruits.
The Botran No. 8 is elaborated by a slow and laborious process created by the Botran family, which arrived from Burgos to Guatelama. He designed a unique style over the years creating complex rums with a long finish and subtle notes. That's what this drink is, a real pleasure for all the senses. It is a tribute to Don Jesus Botran, Born in 1899, remembered for his conversations full of ideas and dynamism.
