The dark amber hue of this whisky is met with aromas of delicious dark chocolate, sun-dried fruits and the tell-tale wisp of Islay smoke. Flavors of cedar wood and rich toffee evolve into a robust and complex finish with a hint of wine tannin. Matured in an inspired combination of both Bourbon and Sherry casks for fifteen years, it’s the final three years on Oloroso Sherry casks that give this Islay Scotch its deep color, rich raisins, gentle smoke and warming finish. It’s produced with hand-turned barley dried with peat—which takes a back seat to the Sherry notes—and won a Gold medal at the 2014 International Wine and Spirits Competition.
