The Bulleit 20-Year-Old Cask Strength Straight Rye Whiskey represents an aged rye expression from Bulleit. Distilled from a 95% rye mash bill and aged for two decades, this limited release is bottled un-chill filtered at 137 proof (68.5% ABV). Produced in a limited run of 1,776 individually numbered bottles, the spirit features a profile shaped by twenty years in charred oak.
Tasting Notes:
It offers notes of leather, vanilla cream, and dark orchard fruits on the nose.
On the palate, it presents flavors of caramelized sugar, clove, and baking spices, leading to a finish of toasted oak and rye pepper.
Bulleit Bourbon is an American-based whiskey producer owned by one of the largest distributors of liquor in the world, Diageo. Derived from a high-rye recipe bourbon first distilled in 1830 by Augustus Bulleit, for whom the is named, this highly crafted straight whiskey is manufactured at the Bulleit Distillery in Lebanon and Shelbyville, Kentucky.
