Casalforte Amarone Della Valpolicella Riserva

It represents an assembly of the most refined selections of Casalforte Amarone, highlighting the maximum natural expression of the fruit in this wine, enriched by a further two years of aging in wood. Production of the Riserva is limited: for the 2016 vintage, only 20,000 are available; this gives each bottle an exclusive character, making it an authentic experience for wine lovers.

The bunches selected for its realization are Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes. These are left to dry in the fruit cellar, then started to slow fermentation with long maceration in contact with the skins. Refine in oak barrels for at least 48 months.

Castelforte Amarone Riserva is a full-bodied wine that conveys great elegance and finesse with its remarkable perfumes of prunes and black cherry along with spicy cinnamon, plum jam, with suggestive spicy notes of cinnamon on the finish.

On the palate, hints of liquorice and cocoa powder play with an exceptionally pleasant tannin that caresses the mouth and invites another sip.

Wonderful for moments of meditation, it pairs perfectly with wild game, stew and mature cheeses prunes and black cherry aromas with cinnamon notes. It goes perfectly with game dishes, stews and mature cheeses, but is also excellent as a meditation wine.
