Tasting Notes:
Nose: This noses like an old whisky with plenty of dunnage warehouses, polished walnut wood, dates, and aged rum. Delicate musky rose, baked peach and strawberry compote. The nose has a soothing balm-like quality like polished cedarwood and rich runny honey.
Palate: A wonderfully rich and complex palate with a huge amount of mixed fruits of all colours (red, yellow and blue) with a slight herbal note that nods in the direction of absinthe. Cherry lozenge, linctus syrup and liquorice. Orange and rose Turkish delight, spicy sumac and red currant jelly.
Finish: Pure Lion's golden syrup and rum. Loganberries. Sweet and coating, a little cloying but relaxes with water.
