Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin 750 ML

Drumshanbo Gunpowder Gin presents in a turquoise blue bottle and promises oriental botanicals including "gunpowder tea." They describe gunpowder tea as a green tea included in a set of botanicals of juniper, orris, caraway, coriander, meadowsweet, cardamon, star anise, lemon, lime, and grapefruit. All of these strike us as traditional botanicals save for the tea and the emphasis on citrus, which reminds of Mediterranean styles of gin.

All the botanicals aside citrus fruits and tea are slowly distilled by hand in ancient stills dating back to the Middle Ages. Lime, lemon, fresh grapefruit and Gunpowder tea, on the other hand, are infused with steam.
