Hampden Estate HLCF Classic Single Jamaican Rum

This rum is marked by its power as shown by the 60% alcohol content. Despite its strength, it remains refined and delicate, with toasty, woody and spicy aromas.

A single mark release, in this case HLCF, the midway point in the 8-mark range produced here officially marking the tipping point into high ester territory. As always everything here is done the traditional way with long wild fermentations, pot distillation, 100% tropical aging and of course zero additives ever. Aged for a minimum of 4yrs, which in Jamaica's climate is the equivalent of over a decade of continental aging.

Nose: Lively and concentrated. Acetone, roasted banana, prune, lemon and menthol notes.
