Expressive and vibrant in the nose, with red fruit, orange peel, violet along with dark chocolate and coffee notes. The wine is full-bodied yet fresh, mineral, and juicy. Grown in semi-desert soil, alluvial sediments, and limestone. 10 months in French and Central European oak with 6 months ageing in the bottle.
Tasting Notes:
Deep purple color. Aromas and flavors of blueberry pie, cinnamon, olives, cumin, sage, and almond pastry with a slightly chewy, crisp, dry medium-full body and a warming, nuanced, medium-long finish evoking suggestions of dark chocolate, fine expresso, creme fraiche, and caramelized onion with firm tannins. A fine Malbec that offers luxurious flavors and texture; pair with an equally excellent meal.
Food Pairing: Blackened Steak, Meat Loaf, Lasagna
