Jean Leon set sail for the USA as a stowaway from the French port of Le Havre, where he was soon discovered by a sailor who decided to help him stay hidden. This wine pays homage to the silent complicity of a stranger who would change Jean Leon's life forever.

Made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, this limited-production wine is produced from a unique 12-hectare terroir bearing the same name.

A blend of quintessential Bordeaux varieties, elegant on the nose, with toasted notes and spicy undertones resulting from its ageing in oak barrels. It has a powerful entry, followed by a lengthy, full-bodied mid-palate with excellent tannins and a long, lingering finish.

Jean Leon Vinya Le Havre Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve offers intense black fruit and aromatic herb notes with a long, persistent, and elegant finish. Ideal with grilled meats and rich sauces.

Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon 67%; Cabernet Franc 33%

Aged for a minimum of 12 months in French and American oak barrels and a minimum of 2 years in the bottle.
