Santiago Ruiz was universally recognized as the Father of Albariño. In 1984, Santiago Ruiz crafted an elegant and complex wine using the typical varieties of Rías Baixas and bottled it with a label that continues to inspire us today to live with authenticity, doing what truly excites us. That is the spirit of Santiago Ruiz.

Tasting Notes:

The wine is clean, bright, with straw-colored hues. Aromatically, it is lively, expressive, and very complex, with floral aromas typical of Albariño, Godello, Treixadura, and Loureiro, along with fruity and mineral notes. A Label with a Story: Over 50 years ago, Isabel Ruiz, the eldest daughter of Santiago, celebrated her wedding at the family estate. To help guests find their way to the San Miguel de Tabagón winery, she decided to draw a map. Her father was delighted with this thoughtful gesture for the guests, and it has endured to this day as the label for Santiago Ruiz.
