A 100% agave tequila made using an age-old method of extracting the agave wort with a tahona stone mill driven by mules – only a few tequila distilleries still use this process – and then aged eight months in white oak barrels.
Tasting Notes:
Appearance: Soft amber-yellow with green and golden highlights.
Aroma: Cooked agave with hints of lemon and vanilla, toasted oak, sweet potato, baked apples.
Palate: Slightly spicy and sweet, well-balanced blend of cooked agave, herbal qualities, and fresh citrus notes. Cooked agave in harmony with the freshness of herbal flavors such as spearmint, mint, chamomile and citrus notes such as grapefruit and lime; paired with sweet, very light flavors coming from the barrels such as caramel, vanilla and some dried fruit (raisins and prunes).
Finish: Full of agave flavor with oak spice on the finish.
