The Dalmore 18 has been artfully created by our Master Whisky Maker, Gregg Glass, and his team, nurtured by hand in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels and 30 year old hand-selected Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks, exclusive to our Highland distillery.
The annual limited edition begins its maturation journey in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels, giving a base of soft vanilla and honey. Further enhancement follows, with a longer finishing in hand-selected 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks from the González Byass bodega in Spain, exclusive to The Dalmore.
Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Vanilla, dark chocolate, English marmalade, and sweet liquorice.
Palate: Chocolate raisins, citrus fruits, rich coffee, nutmeg, and spice.
Finish: Stewed fruits and toffee.

The Dalmore 18 has been artfully created by our Master Whisky Maker, Gregg Glass, and his team, nurtured by hand in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels and 30 year old hand-selected Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks, exclusive to our Highland distillery.

Matured in a combination of oak bourbon and sherry casks, the result is a stunning single malt. Look out for the delicious fruity taste with notes of sherry, sweet citrus and chocolate, coupled with the inviting aroma of vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate and subtle hints of sultana. Serve it with a few drops of cool water to bring out all its flavour.
